Pilates Basics
Dates: Saturdays 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.

Description: This is an introductory four week Pilates group Mat Class designed to introduce the novice to the fundamentals of Pilates. Pilates is a very safe way for anyone to start or expand a fitness program. This class will teach participants how to use the Pilates Method to meet their fitness level and needs – not how to fit their body to the Pilates choreography. Pre Pilates exercises will be introduced with emphasis on proper muscle recruitment and increasing body awareness. Participants will also be taught how to modify and choose exercises from the method that are appropriate for their fitness level and body. Class meets Saturday April 5 thru May 17th. $40.00 for the 4 week session.
